Two More Danelo Cavalcante Sightings Confirmed, Search Throughout Longwood Gardens Continues

Two Danelo Cavalcante sightings were confirmed on Friday, Sept. 8, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Trooper James T. Grothey did not say where exactly the 34-year-old escaped killer was seen — only that the sightings were within the search area.

Meanwhile, a group of police officers armed with long guns had gathered in an area of the northwest corner in the Longwood Gardens of Kennett Square that afternoon, 6abc reports.

No breakthroughs in the manhunt had been announced as of 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9.

It's the tenth day of the search for Cavalcante, who has avoided capture by state and local police, US Marshals, and other agencies since his escape from the Chester County Prison on Aug. 31.
